Work method:
Via the Custom button you can send a photo or several photos of the portrait, size and colors to be painted. For canvas canvases I use new portrait linen and the choice of European wood or durable aluminum frames.
When I have made a sketch on the canvas I send you a photo for the layout and
I will keep you informed from the first design up to and including the varnishing of the portrait.
Your approval by means of a message is necessary to start painting.
I make unique paintings on canvas using techniques from the Dutch old masters.
As many as possible earth-friendly materials and techniques are used, such as flaxseed oil with loose earth pigments,
Oil paint is a technique in which you can capture very realistic personal details. It is a fine paint to paint portraits. Because it is a laborious process, low over low the price is different from acrylic paint.
It is durable and has a deeper color saturation which leaves a nice and real impression. Particularly good for a realistic portrait as a memory.
I am looking forward to a collaboration for painting a personal portrait as a souvenir and memory.
