Oils have been around for centuries with a wide array of colors. I got interested in this medium after watching Bob Ross and William Alexander on PBS in the late 80s.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
1 - 3 weeks depending on work load. My schedule only allows me to paint a few hours each day, therefore spreading out the work over many days. In addition, oils will generally take a week to dry. Palette knife paintings can take up two three times as long.
SIZES
> Face and neck: 9 x 12 inch unframed on pre-stretched canvas. Head & neck, simple background, a more affordable option.
> Head & Shoulders: 11 x 14 inch unframed on pre-stretched canvas with background.

Current artist fine art price set for these sizes at $3.00 square inch plus supplies, materials, and shipping.
SPLIT PAYMENT
Traditionally for portraits, I've had clients pay half to start, the other half when done and client approves. I could not find a way to split the payment thru Etsy. If you prefer this way, I can arrange this via PayPal.
NO RISK
Once I send you a photo of how it's coming along, you'll know right away whether it's a go or no go. At that point, you have the option of opting out for a full refund whether you pay in full or split payment.
QUALITY HI-RESOLUTION PHOTOS or VIDEOS NEEDED:
High-resolution photos are best to work with to be able to view important details such as eye color.
PHOTOS MUST BE YOURS due to copyright laws, EMAIL PHOTOS TO: artisttonyparamo [!at] gmail.com
PAINTING PROCESS
I start by editing the photo(s) with Photoshop to create a draft or two for sizing, layout, background and contrast for the client to review before the job begins. After the job starts, I send the client a photo midway. Once I feel the work is done or close, more photos are sent for review, adjustments and final approval.
FREE high resolution digital photo included for client to reprint anytime. Websites like Vista Print can upload your photo to be printed on all kinds of items such as coffee mugs, T-shirts, backpacks, etc.
