I've been painting custom portraits and paintings in general for the last decade. These painting take 1-3 months to complete and must dry COMPLETELY prior to shipping to you. Please make sure to contact me ahead of time! I do paint for a living full-time, but I often have other commissions running simultaneously and each layer must cure, or "dry" before the next can be placed in a painting as realistic as this one. One of the photos shown is a work in progress of the grisaille, or under-painting.
As you'll notice, there is a reference photo above right next to the painting which shows how accurate the painting is.
The painting will be completed on hardboard which is a sturdier surface than canvas and is quicker to assemble and get started painting. If you much prefer the canvas version which is lighter to ship, please contact me and I can create a custom listing just for you.
