Here's how it works: you send me a photo of your pet (preferably a high resolution JPEG), and then I transform it into a renaissance painting. Through the magic of Photoshop I give your pet the royal treatment, blending the photo you send me with a renaissance painting & taking your pet back in time!

Included in this listing is the digital portrait file pre-formatted for standard size uses, that can be used for printing over and over again on PAPER or CANVAS. (Print at any local or internet print-shop) But if you want me to do the printing please choose the Photo Paper or the Canvas options. Includes FREE SHIPPING because there is nothing shipped :)

ONCE YOU MAKE YOUR PURCHASE, send as many photos as you like of your pet to me at -- therenaissancepet [at] gmail.com. Please tell me your pet's name, if they are a boy or girl, and a bit about their personality -- does your pet have any particular character traits that you would associate for the portrait? King, guard, beggar, royalty, jester, army general, etc... I take this all into consideration when choosing a painting to match!

I can use the portrait background from the examples if you like, but usually I look at the photo you have sent me and find a well matched painting from the 15th-18th century. I'm happy to take your suggestion if you have a specific painting or character in mind.
