HOW TO ORDER:

1. To get started, send me a message with your selfie, right here or through email. My email is tess.e.petersen [at] gmail.com. To start, I would need the selfie and the size you would be interested in.

2. Based on your photos, we can decide if you want any modifications to clothing or props, etc. For example, oftentimes I change the color or patterning of clothing to suit the personality of someone or to be more aesthetically pleasing in the painting. Or I can paint from the selfie as is!

3. We would also need to discuss the backs and sides of the painting. For my previous selfie paintings, I painted the sides and backs with metallic gold spray paint which also caused drips on the front of the surface. I also hand wrote the social media post that went along with the selfie on the back. I wrote the post backwards because they were displayed with mirrors behind. So it would be up to you if you want me to spray paint the back gold or silver, or leave it the plain wood finish. You would also need to decide if you want the writing on the back or sides, and if you want the writing backwards or normal on the back. They are meant to stand up on their own so have no hanging method.

4. After you decide on these details and feel comfortable with going ahead, you can complete a sale through this listing, choosing the appropriate size/price.

5. Upon your approval it will be packed and shipped to you!

HOW LONG IT TAKES:

After we discuss details and size, I can give you a time estimate from after you complete the order through this listing. The time varies depending on how many people are in the photo, how much of the body is included, props and background, as well as my current order schedule.

RETURNS:

For custom orders, since each painting is handmade and designed by me, and because the item is one of a kind, I do not accept returns.

Please note that computer screens may differ and the color of the piece on the screen may not look exactly like what you receive. This is because different types of monitors are calibrated differently. Textures can also be different in person than in photographs. I attempt to show as many angles and close-ups of every piece as possible to give an accurate representation of how it looks in person. Please keep that in mind when ordering.
