HOW TO COMMISSION A PAINTING

1.The purchase of this listing is for a custom portrait from your photographs. In your order notes, please include the e-mail that is the best way to reach you. My e-mail is Olivyea.art [!at] gmail.com
2. We will communicate by e-mail so that you can share your photos with me.
3. Before I begin painting, I will do a preliminary sketch (if needed) for you to review.
4. Now I paint! Please allow 6-12 weeks for the painting to be completed. This time allows for shipment of materials and drying time as well as the actual time to paint it. If you would like to receive your painting sooner, please let me know right away.
5. I will e-mail you a photo of the finished painting for final review. (I may also send update photos while I work if there are design choices to be made.)
6. Once approved, and drying time is complete, I will carefully package and ship your new treasure to you!

In this portrait of Cordula, I feel like I have captured an angel! Her image in this painting has a stabilizing presence. It's like I cannot look into her eyes without becoming the greatest version of myself--she won't let me be anything else. I am blown away that this energy can be contained in an image like this. I love having her in my home.
