This is a commissioned portrait of a young fair haired child, age 2 or 3 years old. The child is looking to the right, his brown eyes open wide and his hand is in his mouth. He seems curious and pensive and the watcher cannot help wondering what he is looking at. The background is dark brown and the child's face and striped t-shirt seem warm and glowing on it. The colors are warm and dreamy and reflect so well the childish figure.

The sweet smile of a baby, the loving look of a couple in each other's eyes, the dignity of the elders and any other happy memory that you wish to cherish.

Details and Materials:
* Florence Academy technique.
* Stretched canvas.
* Oil paints, diluted with turpentine. My pallet usually consists of the three primers: Yellow, Blue and Red and I put both warm and cool pigments.
* Filbert hog hair brushes
* Round sable brushes for the details.
* Liquine to accelerate drying.

How to order?

1st Step:
Convo (through Etsy) or e-mail me (nir.amir@gmail.com) the photo you wish to be painted and we'll talk about it. Feel free to express any idea or thought you may have in mind. Talk to me about the person or persons in the picture, tell me what they mean to you, let me know if this is a gift and for whom, anything you think is important for the portrait.
We will then agree on the delivery date, the size and the material you want the painting to be made from: oil on canvas, watercolor, pencil or charcoal.

2nd step:
Once we've agreed on all the details, I will send you my PayPal details and once payment is performed, your painting will be in queue.

3rd Step
I will start working on the painting and will send progress updates to be discussed as we go. I want you to love the portrait and feel in touch with it, so I am happy to make adjustments as much as you feel necessary.

4th Step
When the painting is completed, I will send a photo for your final approval before shipping.


Photo Tips:
The higher the resolution the photo is, the better I will be able to see its details, and details matter.
So send me a high resolution photo, one that shows every eyelash, every finger and even the pattern of the clothing.
However, when the photo is old and not so clear, but means a lot to you, I usually have ways of working with it as well.
