Custom Pet Portrait, Custom Portrait (Free Shipping within the continental U.S.)

This listing is for: one hand-painted custom oil painting of your pet in costume on stretched canvas with 1/2" profile edges painted black, on a colored background of your choice.

This will be an original oil painting (not a digital painting and not a print) created using only high quality professional materials. It will come with a Certificate of Authenticity hand signed and dated, and the painting will be finished with a gloss varnish.

*This is NOT simply your pet's head pasted onto a famous or already existing historical painting; this is a truly one of a kind, completely original, entirely hand painted illustration of your pet as imagined in a costume of your choice.*


How It Works

1. Select the size and specs that match what you'd like to order from our shop. If you’d like, we can discuss creating a custom listing for you to meet your needs (we can also give you a shipping estimate if you are outside the continental U.S.).

2. Submit payment for your order.

3. The process starts �send us your photo(s) and tell us any of your ideas for your painting. While not required, sending along some references for costume and accessories (can be multiple pictures if you like) will help us tremendously in knowing exactly what you envision. Once you are happy with a sketch, we will start painting.

4. Once we have completed the painting we will send you a photo. If there are adjustments you would like made, let us know; we want you to love your painting! Once the painting has your approval, it will be shipped as soon as the paint is dry (a few days to a week, depending on the humidity).

Tips For Taking Great Photos

For costume portraits, the best photos are those of your pet sitting with the perspective being at eye level (not looking down at them).

Other tips:
-Take photos in highest resolution possible
-Avoid taking photos with the flash on
-Take photos outdoors or in natural light when possible
-Try to make sure the photo is in focus (not blurry)
