I'm Jennifer Berry, an artist based in Sanford, Florida. Painting portraits is a passion of mine. I love to watch the likeness, features, and even the personality of a subject come to life within a painting! I work closely with my clients to ensure that I understand their vision for a painting, and take great pride in creating a piece that will make for a timeless keepsake or unique gift.

To begin the process, message me and let me know what type of painting you'd like, and attach the reference image you'd like to use. Keep in mind that a better photo will make for a better painting. It's best to submit a few pictures, since some photos make better portraits references than others. If this isn't possible, no problem- I'll work with the photo you have. Once we've discussed the plan for your painting, along with the size and price, I'll set up a reserved listing for your 40% deposit. After receiving your deposit, I'll sketch out your painting, and submit it to you for feedback. I won't start painting until you're happy with the sketch. During the painting process I'll send photo updates so you'll have the chance to request minor adjustments, if necessary, before the painting is complete. When you're happy with the final painting, I'll set up another listing for your remaining balance, and your custom artwork will soon be on its way!

All portraits will be completed using high-quality professional grade materials.

Prices quoted are for a portrait (head & shoulders only) with a solid background. The inclusion of a complex background, hands, or other details may incur additional fees.

Portraits are completed on pre-stretched ready-to-frame canvas, or canvas that has been mounted to an acid-free foam core board.

Please allow a minimum of 4-8 weeks for your portrait to be completed. If I have other paintings ahead of yours, it may take longer, but I will let you know up front.
