Portrait rates are subject to change. The current price for your portrait at the time of payment will be applied to your commission.

Smaller sizes, like 6x6, 8x8 or 8x10, are close up on the subject with minimal background, larger sizes have more room for entire body, toys, etc.

Multiple pets in one painting, added features &/or a complex background will incur additional fees. However, any and all of these would be discussed before you are charged extra.


How to Order

Please contact me about my current turnaround time and the ability to paint a great portrait from the photos that you have submitted.

I will need 1 or more photos of your pet before I start. Please message me with the photos through Etsy or email them to me at Kendra.Aldrich.Arts [!at] gmail.com, the clearer the pictures the better. If there is a certain background you would like please let me know otherwise I will choose a color that compliments the pet. I will get back to you promptly and confirm your expectations and send you a digital pre-painting composition, and then I begin!

Features

Your custom pet portrait will be painted in oil on a gallery style wrapped canvas. The canvas will be ready to hang as is. Remember that pet portraits make the perfect gift for your friend or family member pet lover!

Process
------------
Lead time is normally 2-3 weeks, with an additional week of drying time after all edits are made. During the holiday season (Nov 1-Mar 1) this extends up to 5-8 weeks. If you need it sooner, let me know and I will do my best to accommodate. Before shipping I will send you a digital photograph of your new work of art for approval or any final adjustments, free of charge (within reason). The painting will be packed in a professional manner to protect it and will be shipped when dry.
