This is a 100% ORIGINAL, HAND PAINTED CUSTOM oil painting of your pet. I use only the highest quality materials and oil paints! (The painting depicted here is an example. It is to give you a good idea of my painting style and my work quality. It is not for sale).
The painting is created from a photo that you send me. I need a good clear photo (high resolution as possible) preferably in natural lighting. The painting will be made of the one photo of your choosing/preference. But in addition, if possible, I would like additional photos for reference. Please send photos from different angles to capture different characteristics of your paint since I am unable to meet your pet in person.
I can add additional pets into one portrait for an additional charge. This charge depends on the number of additional pets and the size of canvas you have selected. Message me regarding any questions you may have on adding pets to the painting.
Outside of the perimeters listed, I can prepare a completely custom size or look for you. For custom needs, sizes or other inquiries select the "Request a custom order�button. You will be sent to a dialogue box where you can specify your requirements.

THE PROCESS
Once I receive your order and we've finalized the details, this is what happens:
1. I will start on your painting!
2. Within 2 - 3 days I will send you a preliminary sketch and work up so you can see the general composition of your piece.
3. Once that prelim work is OKed by you I will continue and send you pictures during the process so you can see the development.
4. I paint, paint, paint & paint some more (and LOVE every minute of it!).
5. I will finish your painting with a varnish coating that will protect your painting for a lifetime (matt or gloss depending on your preference)
6. I will affix hanging wire to the back so it will be ready to hang as soon as you receive it.
7. I will have your custom pet portrait completed in a general timeframe of 2 to 3 weeks (includes drying time)**
** Timeframes may increase during prime holiday periods (October thru February)
8. I SHIP your painting!! (Please see Shipping Info)
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
You will receive a beautiful gallery quality oil painting of your awesome dog, cat, parrot, turtle, fish, etc! Whatever type of pet parent you are�you will have an art piece that will be treasured for a lifetime. I paint on staple free, gallery wrapped 1.5�thick cotton canvas with sides painted. So framing is not necessary (and that saves you $$$). This piece will be ready to hang as soon as you get it (no worries about framing or any hardware you may or may not need).
